I'M EMILY

I believe you deserve safety and stability

My journey in the mental health world began with my own mental health struggles. I understand how hard it can be to find the hope that things can get better.

My passion is rooted in serving other helping professionals (teachers, nurses, first responders, other therapists like me!) and young adults reclaim their lives from traumatic experiences, anxiety and depression, relational and attachment issues, and transitional stressors.

With lived experience working within Emergency Departments, I find immense value in being able to provide a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards of this work. There is no issue too big or too small, I am dedicated to providing a safe place for you.

Trauma

Specialized in Somatic and Attachment focused EMDR, my goal is to help you reduce the emotional distress associated with traumatic memories and to heal deep rooted wounds.

Anxiety

Trained in Exposure Response and Prevention,  I will provide evidence-based treatment to help you manage and overcome anxiety and OCD symptoms.

Relationships

Trained eclectically, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to help individuals and couples understand their emotional patterns, setting healthy boundaries, and healing attachment wounds.

Emily came highly recommended and I am so glad that I connected with her regarding my mental health journey. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and knows how to challenge you in a positive manner.
