EMILY ALLEN, LCSW, CAADC, CCTP

Emily is a licensed clinical social worker who has a passion to work with young adults and other health professionals who feel weighed down by the impact of past relationships, childhood experiences, and life transitions. Emily specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma using Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She commonly draws from theories to explore how early relationships shape our current experiences and relationship patterns. Emily's approach is compassionate yet direct as she integrates attachment-based theories and relational concepts into sessions to help you uncover patterns, health attachment wounds and build more secure fulfilling relationships (with others and YOURSELF!).

Emily has additional advanced training in treating drug and alcohol disorders, obsessive compulsive and anxiety disorders, and perinatal and postpartum disorders.
