Emily Allen, LCSW, CAADC, CCTP
she/her
Emily helps people who feel stuck in survival mode—often after years of carrying the weight of difficult relationships, childhood trauma, or major life transitions. Her approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a focus on addressing the deeper emotional patterns that drive anxiety, disconnection, and relationship struggles.
Drawing from EMDR, attachment-based work, and relational therapy, Emily supports individuals and couples in untangling the past so they can build more grounded, fulfilling lives in the present. She often works through the lens of attachment theory, exploring how early relational experiences shape current patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating.
Emily’s style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. In sessions, she offers a steady, compassionate space where clients can explore what’s not working, make sense of core wounds, and begin to show up more fully—for themselves and in their relationships.
