When did everything start feeling so heavy?
Everyone keeps asking about your plans after graduation, and you don’t have an answer. There’s an assignment you keep avoiding because just thinking about it makes your stomach drop. Something changed with your friends, and now you’re up at midnight replaying every conversation. When someone asks how you’re doing, “I’m fine” is easier than trying to explain it all.
In teen therapy, we’ll sort through it together, one piece at a time, until it starts to feel lighter.

What Is Teen Therapy & How Can It Help?
Being a teenager is a lot right now.

Teens are juggling grades, college and career pressure, shifting friendships, family stress, and social media that makes everyone else look like they have it together. All of that can show up as anxiety, irritability, low mood, perfectionism, shutting down, or turning to coping habits that don’t really help.

Teens also feel things intensely. Their brains are still developing, which makes emotions land harder. Therapy gives those big feelings a safe place to go, and gives your teen real tools they can use at school, at home, and with friends.
Do any of these sound familiar?
-
There’s a voice in your head telling you you’re not doing enough.
-
You’re up way too late, or waking up exhausted no matter how much you sleep.
-
Something happened with friends or a relationship, and it’s still weighing on you.
-
Thinking about the future makes your chest tight.
-
It feels like no one really gets it, so you stopped trying to explain.
-
For parents: Your teen seems different lately, and “I’m fine” is all you’re hearing.
If you or your teen recognized any of these, it may be a good time to talk with a teen therapist.
What Therapy Can Help Your Teen Work Through

How Teen Therapy Works At Bloom

1
Start Together
Parents may join for the start of the first session, so everyone hears how privacy and confidentiality work. Parents are welcome to share what they’re noticing.
2
Their Space
After that, sessions are usually one-on-one with your teen. It’s their space to be honest. Their therapist shares only what your teen agrees to, with exceptions for safety.
3
Build & Grow
Over time, we build tools your teen can use at school and at home. With your teen’s okay, parents can check in to learn how to support progress at home.
